I've found a simple way to improve our English!
本帖最後由 血映雪 於 9-1-2013 22:53 編輯Hi, everyone! I'm Regina. I'm sharing a simple way to improve our English to all of you and hope you'll like it.
Learning English has always be a rather tough job for adolescents like us, especially students in high school who have to deal with DSE. Luckily, I'm in university now and English won't be a barrier to me. Although books and notes are the most effective and ordinary way to learn English, most of us find it boring and dreary to keep on reading books or notes for a long time. So now it's time for a change.
The method I'm sharing is really easy! Just switch your smartphone into English version. This piece of cake can be done with just a few steps within a minute!
Teens can live without books, but not without their smartphones! Therefore, smartphones in English version force teens to read those English words on the screen, at least look at those words. These reading, or merely looking, can help us know more about daily English in our common lives.
Besides, an English phone can turn all the applications in the phone into English versions so the effects of learning English would be enhanced.
There is a reminder that remember to choose UK English if both UK and US English versions are available on your phone. Otherwise, the US English version will turn the phone numbers in your contact list into a mess! Hi, everyone! I'm Regina. I'm sharing a simple way to improve our English to all of you and hope you ...

Another piece of advice:
For those who love listening to music, you may try to listen to English songs.Just pick the genre you like,no matter pop or rock or even rap if you want to challenge yourself.
At first you may find it difficult to follow the lyrics, but that's alright, just enjoy the groove and don't let the lyrics bother you.
Later you may want to know what the lyrics says, then you shell find the lyrics through the web. (as I know, there're a number of websites which display the lyrics of hundreds of English songs)
Try to listen to the song again after you've checked the lyrics, and try to match the words sung to the lyrics you've checked.
After some time, you may find your listening improved and can understand more words of the songs.
Actually this is my own experience of improving listening.Throughout my AL studies,it's a habit for me to listen to English songs and I find my listening has been improved by listening to many English songs.Surely,my UE listening grade tells me this does help. LOL
